Anaesthesia / Pain clinic

At our pain clinic, we perform epidural injections, where an anti-inflammatory and analgesic is administered into the epidural space of the back. This reduces inflammation in irritated nerve roots and helps relieve pain and increase freedom of movement.

What investigations are carried out in pain and anaesthesia care?

At Medical Centre, we perform various tests to assess your general health and any anaesthesia risks. Which tests are necessary is determined according to your symptoms and medical history. We always adopt a personalised approach, paying attention to your comfort and safety. Are you unsure whether a test is necessary? Our specialists will be happy to advise you.

Clinical research

A clinical examination is a medical examination in which the doctor assesses your health through physical tests and a comprehensive interview. The aim is to detect possible conditions early and establish an accurate diagnosis.

What can you expect during a consultation at the pain clinic?

1. Initial consultation and medical history

During the initial consultation, the anaesthesiologist or pain specialist gathers information about your symptoms, medical history, previous treatments and current medication use. In addition, your lifestyle and the way you experience pain are mapped out, so that a complete picture of your situation emerges.

2. Investigate

If necessary, additional investigations are performed, such as imaging (MRI or CT scan), nerve conduction studies or diagnostic infiltrations. These examinations offer more insight into the cause of the pain and enable targeted treatment.

3. Results & Follow-up

Based on the examination results, the doctor draws up an individual treatment plan. This may include medication, infiltrations, nerve blocks or referral to other disciplines, such as physiotherapy or psychological counselling. You will receive a medical report of this and, if required, explanations via your eHealth file. The aim is to reduce pain and improve quality of life.

We guide you through persistent pain

The body may send signals in the form of chronic pain, tingling, radiating pain or hypersensitivity. Such symptoms may indicate nerve pain, joint problems or other pain syndromes that limit daily functioning. At the Medical Centre, pain is carefully examined. The pain specialists analyse the underlying causes and draw up an individual treatment plan with the aim of improving quality of life and achieving lasting relief.
