What exactly does that mean?

Our strength is that you can consult a team of specialists during one appointment, as well as have a battery of medical examinations. Our team of specialists includes a cardiologist, internist gastroenterologist, vascular surgeon, urologist, nose-throat-ear specialist and gynaecologist. The screening is followed by a discussion with the specialist and, at the latest within a week, a complete medical report with the results and your personal recommendations (e.g. adjusting lifestyle, starting medication, referral to another specialist or for further examination, etc.).

Why ultrasounds?

At Doctor's House Antverpia, we perform various ultrasounds to image the kidneys, bladder and prostate. These examinations use sound waves to safely and painlessly gather information about your urinary tract and genitals, without radiation exposure. The goal? An ultrasound can help detect kidney stones, cysts, enlarged prostate or other abnormalities in time. For example, we can see if the bladder is completely empty (post-micturition residue), or measure the prostate volume via transrectal ultrasound (TRUS). This information is important for making an accurate diagnosis and planning further treatment, such as for prostate complaints or urinary complaints.

Do you have complaints or is it time for a general check-up?

Ultrasounds can provide important clues to detect any health problems early.
