What exactly does that mean?

Our strength is that you can consult a team of specialists during one appointment, as well as have a battery of medical examinations. Our team of specialists includes a cardiologist, internist gastroenterologist, vascular surgeon, urologist, nose-throat-ear specialist and gynaecologist. The screening is followed by a discussion with the specialist and, at the latest within a week, a complete medical report with the results and your personal recommendations (e.g. adjusting lifestyle, starting medication, referral to another specialist or for further examination, etc.).

Why a speculum examination?

A speculum examination involves gently opening the vagina with a speculum (instrument) so that the doctor can get a good look at the cervix. This is a simple and short examination, usually performed during a gynaecological check-up. The goal? The speculum examination allows timely detection of abnormalities of the cervix or vaginal wall. It is often combined with a smear test or other investigations for a complete evaluation of female health.

Do you have complaints or is it time for a general check-up?

A speculum examination can provide important clues to detect any health problems early.
